(POLL) Almost half of voters want Merrick Garland impeached

After Merrick Garland was grilled in a congressional hearing last week, nearly half of voters think the Attorney General should be impeached.

That’s according to the latest Rasmussen Reports.

The survey found that 48% of likely U.S. voters believe Congress should launch an impeachment investigation of Garland.

Thirty-five percent (35%) oppose impeaching the attorney general, and 18% are not sure.

In last week’s hearing, Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee accused Garland and Justice Department officials of interfering with the investigation of Hunter Biden’s foreign business deals because they knew the “scandal would lead right to President Biden.”

Fifty-eight percent (58%) of voters agree with that accusation, including 43% who “strongly agree.”

Thirty-four percent (34%) disagree, including 26% who “strongly disagree.”

  1. Sharyl, I suggest your current poll for top issue in election 2024 should have an entry for OPEN BORDERS (ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION). America will not survive without secure borders.

  2. This has been a growing consensus for months already. Why have no Republicans made a move on this yet?
And now they will be preoccupied with the vacant Speakership issue.
